LINGUOPOETIC FEATURES OF CHILDREN’S LITERATURE: THEORETICAL APPROACHES AND CONTEMPORARY INTERPRETATIONS
Abstract
This article presents a comparative analysis of the linguopoetic features of children’s literature based on the theoretical approaches developed by the Russian and Western schools of linguopoetics. The relevance of the study lies in the need to reconsider the linguopoetic nature of figurative devices, particularly hyperbole, in children’s literary texts from the perspective of contemporary linguistic theories. The research employs comparative, descriptive, linguopoetic, and stylistic methods of analysis. The findings systematize the linguopoetic characteristics of children’s literature, identify the similarities and differences between the Russian and Western linguopoetic traditions, and propose an integrated methodological framework for their analysis. The results provide a theoretical basis for further research into the artistic functions of hyperbole and its transformations in the translation of children’s literary works. Keywords
