Abstract

The article notes that in Uzbekistan, Uzbek takyas - tekkes in Turkey are mainly considered as temporary residences on the pilgrimage route, and their function as a socio-cultural institution is often overlooked. This is also explained by the fact that there are still no full-fledged studies in the Uzbek language.
