Author guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to the International Scientific Journal Alfraganus must follow international academic standards, editorial policy and the section requirements of the journal.

At least 6 pagesThe manuscript must be at least 6 pages or 10,000 characters.
3-language metadataTitle, abstract, keywords and author information must be provided in three languages.
APA referencesReferences must follow APA format and include at least 10 sources.
Note: these requirements apply to scientific articles. Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements may be returned for revision before review.

Key requirements

  1. The manuscript must be original, unpublished and not under consideration by another journal.
  2. The topic must match the journal sections and present scientific research, a literature review, empirical analysis, a methodological approach or an applied scholarly result.
  3. The text must be prepared in Arial, 12 pt, 1.15 line spacing. Margins: left 3 cm, right 1.5 cm, top 2 cm, bottom 2 cm.
  4. Pages must be numbered in the lower right corner. The file must remain editable.
  5. Title, author full name, affiliation, position, academic degree/title, ORCID, email, abstract and keywords must be provided in Uzbek, Russian and English.
  6. The abstract should be about 250-300 words. Keywords should include 5-10 terms or phrases.
  7. UDC is required. JEL codes are required for economics-related manuscripts.
  8. Tables and figures must be numbered, titled and sourced. Charts must be submitted with the original numerical data in a separate file.
  9. Formulas must be prepared in MathType. Graphic materials must be high quality and editable where applicable.
  10. Submissions are reviewed by the editorial office and may be recommended for publication or returned for revision based on review results.

Manuscript structure

Article title Title

The title must be concise, clear and provided in three languages.

Author information Author information

Full name, affiliation, position, academic degree/title, ORCID and email must be provided.

Abstract Abstract

The abstract summarizes the purpose, methods, key findings and scholarly or practical value.

Keywords Keywords

Choose 5-10 terms that describe the article and support indexing and search visibility.

Introduction Introduction

Explain the problem, relevance, research purpose, tasks and scholarly significance.

Literature review Literature review

Critically review relevant scholarly sources and identify the research gap.

Methods Methods

Describe the research design, data sources, methods and analytical approach.

Results Results

Present findings clearly using tables, figures or evidence where appropriate.

Discussion Discussion

Explain the scholarly and practical meaning of the results, limitations and links to prior research.

Conclusion Conclusion

Provide main conclusions, recommendations and future research directions.

References References

In-text citations and reference list entries must be complete and formatted in APA style.

Formatting and technical requirements

Visual materials

  • Tables must be created using MS Word table tools.
  • Charts must be prepared in Excel and submitted with original numerical data in a separate file.
  • Vector formats: PDF, EPS, AI, CDR. Low-quality scanned or web images are not accepted.
  • Low-quality JPEG, TIF and BMP materials are not accepted.

Bibliography

  • APA format: the reference list and in-text citations must follow APA format.
  • Quantity: at least 10 sources, including at least 2 sources indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
  • Footnotes: internet sources and regulatory documents must be shown in footnotes with access dates.
  • Details: author, title, place of publication, year and pages must be complete.

PROHIBITED: hyphenation, extra spaces, automatic numbering, macros and saving the file in “read-only” mode.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The manuscript follows the author guidelines of the International Scientific Journal Alfraganus.
  • The manuscript has not been published before and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • The text is formatted in Arial 12 pt, 1.15 spacing and the required page margins.
  • Title, abstract, keywords and author information are provided in Uzbek, Russian and English.
  • References follow APA format, include at least 10 sources and at least 2 Scopus/WoS sources.
  • Tables, figures, charts, formulas and supplementary files meet the technical requirements.
