THE ARTISTIC REPRESENTATION OF WOMEN'S INNER WORLD IN ENGLISH LITERATURE: INTERPRETATION WITHIN NATIONAL-CULTURAL PRINCIPLES
Abstract
Throughout history, literary works have depicted the image of women differently, influenced by the socio-political climate, religious beliefs, and cultural factors of each era. English literature has witnessed significant tendencies in portraying women’s inner world, shaped by religious views, gender roles, and national-cultural factors. This study explores these tendencies in English literature through different historical periods, focusing on the Victorian Medieval era and the Victorian period.
