Abstract
Regional business development is based on identifying the region's economic growth points, efficient use of resources, and improving local infrastructure. The scientific basis is provided for the significant expansion of the share of small businesses and private entrepreneurship in the economy as a result of economic reforms, state programs, and the introduction of digital technologies implemented in 2017-2024. This article provides a detailed analysis of the institutional foundations of the development of entrepreneurial activity in the Republic of Uzbekistan and its impact on the well-being of the population.
