Application of Logical Laws and Principles in Abu Ali ibn Sino's Canon of Medicine

Abstract

The article shows how the application of logical mechanisms, laws and rules allowed the great scientist and physician of the Eastern Renaissance period, Abu Ali ibn Sina (Avicenna), to create the most significant and comprehensive work on medicine (The Canon of Medicine), which became the main teaching aid both in Western European universities and in medical schools in the East for centuries.
