Abstract
This article philosophically analyzes the essence of the concept of civilization, the history of philosophical thoughts about civilization, the similarities and differences of approaches to its explanation, the role of civilizations in the development of the historical development of society. Also, the content and essence of practical work that should be paid attention to in the development of today's New Uzbekistan society, in laying the foundations of the Third Renaissance, has been revealed.
